Two minutes with Alanah

With a background in fashion, Director Alanah draws on her experiences to inform her aesthetic and create extraordinary environments.

Here she shares some insights into her job and what inspires her.

What do you love about your job?

I love the variety. We have worked with so many diverse clients, where every brief is different. I love that we have the opportunity to create something different yet amazing every time. 

What is the most rewarding part of a project?

Seeing a completed styled property come to life.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced on a project?

Would have to be the same as Elle for this one! Furnishing over 30 properties in one day.

What inspires you?

I draw inspiration from my time working in fashion, where form and texture is just as important as function.

I work best when:

When I’m collaborating in a team. I love the energy that occurs when I work with other creatives.

My favourite piece of furniture is:

An armchair or a really detailed coffee table!

My colour of the moment is:

Khaki green.
