Crafting Coastal Elegance
Twostyle’s latest project, a custom furniture fitout and interior design transformation for the Elwood RT Edgar office, epitomises coastal-inspired elegance and modern functionality.
Nestled within the charming Bayside suburb of Elwood, this project started with a vision to intertwine a coastal atmosphere with earthy elements, celebrating the serene beauty of nature within an office setting. The essence of this aesthetic revolved around a harmonious blend of natural colours, the warmth of wood, presence of travertine stone, and inviting textures of a statement jute rug and boucle fabrications.
At the core, the design was to create a contemporary ambience accentuated by organic influences. The fusion of these elements aimed to craft an environment that was not just visually appealing but also promoted a sense of freshness and modernity. One of the standout features of this project was the inclusion of high-end, luxurious finishes that accentuated the organic aesthetic – the result is a space that exudes sophistication while retaining an inherent connection to nature.
Twostyle integrated textural contrasts, employing boucle fabric to bring life to chairs, adding a sophisticated sense of tactility to the decor. This attention to detail elevated the ambience, lending a sense of cosiness to a space where clients and employees can interact and connect.
Key features of the project included a custom reception desk crafted from Signorino travertine stone which serves as an exquisite focal point, radiating both functionality and elegance; a custom Laminex panelled wall which adds depth and character, elevating the visual appeal of the space; and bespoke arched joinery and Polytec shelving which creates a unique architectural dimension, merging form and function seamlessly.
Premium flooring choices contributed significantly to the design, enhancing the overall sense of luxury and refinement throughout.
The culmination of these bespoke design elements and meticulous attention to detail resulted in a clean, welcoming, and bright office space. The fusion of contemporary stylings with earthy nature-inspired elements has not only redefined the space but also created an environment that is conducive to productivity and comfort.
