Twostyle’s transformation of this classic homestead in Shoreham involved a multi-disciplinary approach spanning both traditional and modern styles.

We achieved a farmhouse chic look by introducing contemporary materials and colours – such as brass fixtures, spiral tapware, panelled joinery and emerald green feature tiles – into a largely French Provincial setting. Soft neutral furnishings such as a linen sofa and rattan bedhead come together with stronger elements of marble, artwork and prints to reveal an interesting juxtaposition that just works.

Catering to the practical needs of a young growing family, Twostyle reworked the home’s layout to incorporate a new walk-in robe and ensuite in the master, larger guest bathroom and hybrid mudroom/laundry room near the entrance. Adding to the theme of family is a delightful alfresco dining precinct with its focal point being an outdoor kitchen complete with striking feature tiles and a polito pizza oven.
