Green barn doors, rendered in-built furniture, and micro-cement walls prove that this home is unafraid to be a little different.
This Port Melbourne residence underwent a full interior transformation to become a distinctive, high-end family home with exceptional finishes and features. An exciting project to date, Twostyle completed the interior design, provided a furniture package fitout, and of course, included their signature styling.
The main feature of the home is the grand entertainers/family kitchen featuring top-tier appliances by Winnings Appliances. The kitchen truly stands out with luxury and refinement thanks to gold fixtures and handles by Lo & Co, while ABI Interiors supplied the additional gold tapware.
The contrasting joinery with micro cement and blossom white callcutta cabinets (Polytec) add to the home’s bespoke, elevated charm. The finishing touches are reined in by the high bar stools by Fenton & Fenton which balance the grey tonal palette with a pop of gorgeous soft timber and white leather strapping.
Surfacex installed micro cement throughout the home to achieve the look of a concrete render but with a softer, more minimal depth. This aesthetic works nicely with the overall furniture choice. Twostyle worked with Warwick Fabrics to design all the in-built furniture, living room coffee table, and dining table.
The custom in-built Banquette and lounge seats are true statement pieces amidst the open plan living and dining – and will save space and reduce excess clutter in the long term with book nooks and storage compartments.

Working with the home's unique curves and edges, the styling plays with textures and patterns to craft a space that is sophisticated but still functional for a family with four kids. Earthy green tones and organic materials (timber and concrete) create a home that feels fresh, harmonious, and advocates for all-day tranquillity and respite.

A stone’s throw from the beach, the team was inspired to create an aesthetic within the bedrooms that spoke to high-end Mediterranean coastal luxe while infusing a subtle contemporary styling. Twostyle played with textured fabrications and bright colours to create the ultimate atmospheric cosiness. Animal print wallpaper (custom wallpaper and paint treatment) within the kids’ room reunites with the organic, earthy elements from the living room, balancing tones and sentimentalities.
Every aspect of this home has been meticulously designed and curated with attention to detail. Twostyle created rooms that exude elegance while remaining highly functional – from the thoughtfully selected materials to the precisely executed finishes, every element has been considered to ensure seamless and sophisticated living.
