Featuring an all-black statement kitchen and a black & white monochromatic colour scheme throughout, our aim was to make this bold palette stand out by complementing it with pops of bright hues. We pulled out colours from the fine artwork and featured them within the décor. Brighter hints of yellows and greens thrive in the kitchen and living area, contrasting alongside the darker-toned elements for an exquisite daring look.
High-End Furnishing
Since the home centered around the open-plan living area and outdoor courtyard – perfect for seasonal entertaining – it was essential to incorporate furniture that was practical. Outdoors, the formal dining area is complete with a black timber table and comfortable seating. The red brick wall truly remains the sole focal point of this stunning green space.
Inside, the sitting room is ever versatile with the inclusion of a round coffee table, timber sideboard, and textured sofas. The additional black bar stools remain hidden against the all-black kitchen, while the dining chairs create the perfect balance between soft and powerful colours.
Layering Textures
In keeping with the home’s ultra-luxe aesthetic, we played with layering textures in the bedrooms. Velvet cushions, tweed fabrications, and linen duvets add warmth and a dash of sophistication. Soft pastels create a sumptuous suite for relaxation ensuring the space remains neutral and open for imagination.
When styling these rooms, minimalism and simplicity were top of mind. This was our way of guaranteeing that the home’s heritage wall panels and architraves, were enhanced not overshadowed by clutter. Utilising neutral tones keep in line with the pristine, crisp and clean aesthetic of the home.
